Estimating and Project Supervision

Our firm is currently offering full-time employment in the areas of estimating and project supervision.  It is our desire to hire graduates of Civil Engineering or Construction Management to fill these openings.

Applicants will have to meet the following basic requirements: 

• Interest in heavy construction, specifically earthmoving.
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experienced user of Windows 95/98 and Microsoft Office
• Versatility to work inside and outside
• Willingness to work long hours
• Willingness to settle in the Northwest Chicago suburban area.

A brief job description includes:

• Reading blueprints and specifications
• Surveying – staking and setting grades with laser and Lenker rod.
• Job management – supervising mass earthwork job sites through all phases of development.
• Estimating – performing quantity takeoffs and preparing proposals.
