Mass Earthwork Superintendent

We are seeking an individual capable of supervising mass earthwork jobs utilizing scrapers and articulated trucks.  Typical crew sizes range from 5 – 20 hauling units with all necessary support equipment. 

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum 5 years experience as earthwork superintendent.
• Self starter who enjoys responsibility.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills  
• Subdivision experience is preferred.

A brief job description includes:

• Reading blueprints and specifications

• Basic surveying – staking and setting grades with laser and Lenker rod.
• Managing project productivity throughout all stages of development.
• Keeping daily cost and production reports for each project.
• Act as a liaison between Read and client.
